Submit Sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools

In my previous posts, we've discussed how to submit manually your blog to search engines so that the articles on our blog quickly indexed by Google (read: Submit and Verification Your Blog to Google), Yahoo (read: Submit and Verification Your Blog to Yahoo) , and Bing (read: Submit and Verification Your Blog to Bing).

Maybe the manual method is not effective because we are awaiting the results of the report is quite long, and for this post I will share tips on how fast our blog quickly indexed by search engine Google with Your Blog Submit and Verification via Webmaster Tools.

Here are the steps you can take to submit a sitemap in webmasters tools:
- Please click to go to Google Webmaster Tools
- Click on "Add Site" to add your blog, and enter the URL of your blog.
- After a successful, click the url of your blog so that we now go into your blog dashboard webmasters tools.
- Notice in the upper left, click the Site Configuration Menu
- Click Sitemaps
- Click the Submit a Sitemap
- After you click submit a sitemap, blog address will automatically appear and you are asked to add your sitemap address in the box stuffing. In the text box contents as follows:

atom.xml  and becomes  http://YOURBLOGURL.blogspot.com/atom.xml

However, if you have burned your feed with feedburner, there will be an error, indicated by a red cross on the right sitemap. Add the code behind so that it becomes:

http://YOURBLOGURL.blogspot.com/atom.xml?redirect=false

- After you enter your sitemaps address, please click Submit Sitemap.

Note : You can add multiple sitemap. There are 4 default feeds for bloggers who can you submit.

• atom.xml
• rss.xml
• feeds/posts/default
• feeds/posts/default?alt=rss
• /atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
